If you use text, it shouldn't be obvious. You wouldn't notice this slight border misalignment unless you, like me, use an image to cover the whole card. Although the image isn't perfectly centered on each card, it's close.

I used the Avery site to create the cards in a PDF file so that I could print them whenever I wanted. Nope. The clean edges are truly clean edge, although it's a bit difficult to fold away the outer frame. I had no idea that cardstock used for different kind printers would not feed well - I just thought it was a print quality issue. This product solved the problem instantly. I finally realized that the older stock was for InkJet. I had previously used older cardstock from an off-brand, and it kept getting stuck. I bought this slim pack of Avery clean edge business cards because I wanted to print using my HP Color Laser Jet. Perfect for Color LaserJet Business Cards (5- Stars) It should have a label on it saying: "do not print anything on this paper- Not for printing!" I never had this problem with any other type of paper I use and I use a lot of different kinds including hard, relieved card stock. Take a look how the toner is just falling off the paper when simply finger touching. Not only its a waste of money and time but it's affecting my image in front of my customers as well. The results are so terrible I am ashamed that my customers will think I cheapened out on printing and sent them some cheap paper and I used a 1982 printer or something. So I went with this product avery 5871 which is for Laser printers, so supposedly the right kind for may machine, hoping I will get better prints than with the ink jet cards. I use these cards to send to my customers. I have used avery 8871 cards in the past which are for Ink jet, so supposedly not the right kind for my machine, but have gotten ok results, not stellar but not terrible either.

I own an HP Topshot laserjet Pro M275 printer. Star star_border star_border star_border star_border Be sure to print a test page and hold it up to the light to see the alignment. So you'll have to keep your graphics all within, say, 1/8 of an inch inside the edges.Even large-ish banner that stays within the card can appear off-centered because of the printer feed tolerances.Okay - another complaint: the Avery template in Microsoft Word format is wonky and doesn't necessarily print exactly where it needs to print. There is just enough "wiggle" and misalignment in the way the paper feeds through the printer that any banner-like graphic will run over onto the card above/below or beside the card. Not quite as thick and sturdy as print-shop, but pretty close.Only complaint: You can not have edge-to-edge graphics on your business card layout. Edges are so well perforated that it's only pretty darn close to cut-edge print-shop cards. I've used both the inkjet and laser versions of this. Dang near print-shop quality but watch your graphic layout
